This policy covers www.yoursantaclarita.com only. Our property search site, www.santaclaritalistings.com, runs on a separate platform operated by a different provider and has its own privacy policy. Please review that policy when using that site.
The short version
- When you fill out a form, we collect what you enter and use it to help you with real estate. Form submissions are stored on our own website.
- We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site.
- Our property search (iHomefinder), our reviews widget, and embedded videos are operated by other companies that can see that you visited.
- Non-essential tracking does not run until you allow it. When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline. Nothing analytics- or marketing-related loads before you choose.
- We do not run advertising pixels on this site. No Facebook/Meta pixel, no Google Ads retargeting, no session-recording software.
- We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
- You can change your cookie choice any time using the Cookie Preferences link in the footer.
1. Information we collect, and why
Information you provide
Contact and inquiry forms. When you submit a form on this site, we collect the information you enter — typically your name, email address, phone number, and any message you write. Our forms run on Gravity Forms and submissions are stored on our own website, not with an outside form provider. Your IP address is recorded with each submission for security and spam prevention.
We use this information to respond to you, answer questions, arrange showings, send you information you requested, and provide real estate services.
Calls, emails, and texts. Our forms include a separate opt-in for phone calls, emails, and text messages. Consenting to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or service. You can opt out anytime by replying STOP to any text or using the unsubscribe link in any email. Message and data rates may apply.
Blog comments. If you leave a comment, we collect what’s in the comment form along with your IP address and browser information, which help us detect spam.
Information collected automatically
Like nearly all websites, this site records technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, the site that referred you, the pages you view, and the time and length of your visit. Analytics collection does not begin until you consent.
How long we keep it
- Inquiry and contact records: as long as needed to serve you and to meet California real estate recordkeeping requirements.
- Analytics data: the shortest retention period Google Analytics permits (currently set to the minimum).
- Blog comments: retained until you ask us to remove them.
- Server logs: per our host’s standard schedule.
2. Third-party services on this site
We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf and are restricted from using it for their own purposes. We’d rather be specific than vague, so here is who receives what:

We have accepted Google’s data processing terms covering Google Analytics and reCAPTCHA.
Property listing data on this site is provided under the applicable multiple listing service’s Internet Data Exchange (IDX) program, and MLS disclaimers and copyright notices appear alongside that data on listing and search pages.
3. What we do NOT do
- We do not run a Facebook/Meta advertising pixel on this site.
- We do not run Google Ads retargeting or remarketing on this site.
- We do not use session-recording, screen-replay, or heatmap software.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not share your personal information with third parties for those third parties’ own marketing purposes.
4. Cookies and consent
This site uses cookies. Non-essential cookies — analytics, property search, reviews, and video — do not run until you accept them. On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline each category, and you can change your choice anytime using the Cookie Preferences link in the footer.
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out of non-essential tracking.

5. Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you may:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you;
- Access a copy of that information;
- Request a portable copy (an export) of that information;
- Request that we delete it;
- Request that we correct it;
- Opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information — though, as stated above, we do neither.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. To make a request, email holly@scvholly.com or call (661) 714-2772, or use the data request form (see section 12). We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before responding, so please clearly state who you are. We aim to respond within 45 days; if a request is complex, we may need additional time and will let you know.
Marketing opt-out. Reply STOP to any text message, or use the unsubscribe link in any email.
Browser controls. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work correctly.
6. Disclosure required by law
We may disclose personal information if required by law or court order, in response to a law enforcement request, or in connection with an investigation related to public safety, to the extent permitted by law.
If our website or business is sold or merged, your information may be transferred to the new owners and their advisors as part of that transaction.
7. Security
We are committed to protecting your personal information. We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and managed, monitored hosting, and we require the same of the providers that process data on our behalf. No method of transmitting information over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Third-party websites
This policy does not apply to third-party websites linked from ours. We cannot guarantee how those sites handle your information, and we recommend reviewing their privacy policies before using them.
9. Children
This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the website or the law changes. The date at the top shows the most recent revision. If we make a material change to how we handle tracking, you’ll be asked for your cookie preferences again.
